More distribution at tops, though identifiable really only in hindsight this one. Once the break occurs though, two further patterns did develop, a symmetrical triangle, then a rectangle; tradable patterns perhaps using options. (Our office got one of them.) These 2 patterns usually break in the direction of the existing trend, and often on solid volume.

Soon, expect to see a few buy recommendations come out from brokers. (Hey the price used to be $23 now its $12 - half price that's cheap etc) This will cause the inevitable up retracement of the downtrend, but not a stock I would buy until I had seen some decent accumulation at lower prices. And that will take time to happen.

(Personal opinion; I believe the time of buying and holding is gone. When growth stops in a company, ie little further earnings upside, profit taking time is upon us.)
