Stocks to keep an eye on, week ended 22/7/00
PTZ
We've got an accumulation range happening in my view, between 24 and 38
cents. That's a possible trading range in the short term. Watch any break
higher.
LLC
Lend lease will be redistributing the proceeds from the sale of MLC, some
1.5 to 1.8 billion dollars. LLC will do this by buying back shares. Watch
this. It is indicative that dividend returns are a declining phenomenon,
and the emphasis is shifting to capital growth. This activity will
underpin a strong LLC chart. PS. don't forget the new lower company tax
rates will provide lower franking credits now.
FSL
highly speculative, but may be a change in trend shortly.
LIB
Expect the Directors of LIB to be doing everything possible to reverse the
trend here. Watch for developments.
LOK
Expect a move back to the mid point of the extreme run down.
MAY
Down trend looks to have stopped. Look now for a higher low on the weekly
chart.
MBX
Watch for a higher low on the weekly.
MXM
Watch the continuing accumulation between 20 and 30 cents on the daily.
PAH
examine this chart for a classic illustration of tax loss selling at 30th
June.
PMD
Should be in your watch list. Bullish pattern on the weekly. Higher lows
now.
ps, Sanford are listing. Watch what these guys do with their listing. It
will teach you how the game works, to suit brokers. By this I mean;
floating only a small percentage of the shares, keep the float tight, pick
your timing, hype it up with good news just prior to listing etc etc.
Let's see what happens.
